I am a Robotics Engineer at Optimax Systems, Inc. and a graduate student pursuing a Master of Engineering in Robotics at the University of Maryland (expected December 2026). I graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering in 2023.
I have 4+ years of experience shipping production robot software. At Optimax I develop in ROS 2 (C++, Python) and TwinCAT Structured Text, integrating ABB robots with PLC-controlled machines. I introduced CI/CD to both the ROS 2 and PLC projects and remain its primary owner, and I serve as scrum master for the ROS 2 and PLC software teams.
